Position Overview

• Analyze local market trends and competitor activity

• Develop strategies to maintain market leadership

• Drive future and repeat business across all revenue streams

• Lead and develop the Sales team to achieve commercial targets

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Business Development

• Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads

• Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to increase market share

• Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients

• Prepare company contracts in line with current business and pricing conditions

• Work within existing business strategies while identifying new revenue opportunities

• Develop and implement creative marketing channels including social media initiatives

• Attend sales events and networking activities as required

Reporting and Administration

• Produce accurate and timely sales reports for the Sales Director and senior management

• Report appointments calls made and business leads generated

• Respond to customer queries in a prompt and professional manner

Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Recruit manage train and develop the Sales team

• Monitor staff performance in line with company policies and procedures

• Collaborate with other hotel departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences

• Build comprehensive sales programs that support overall hotel objectives

• Proven experience in a sales role with a strong track record of closing deals

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service

• Excellent grooming and professional presentation standards

• Ability to work under pressure and independently

• Flexibility to respond to varied business situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the local Dubai market

• Understanding of hospitality industry operations

• Passion for sales and achieving revenue targets

• Degree level qualification in a relevant field
