Position Overview

• Maximize revenue opportunities in group reservations conferences and events

• Drive sales leads and increase conversion rates

• Build repeat and expanded business through strong client relationships

• Support hotel promotional and sales initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Revenue Generation

• Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve revenue targets

• Manage events schedule to maximize yield and occupancy

• Implement consistent up selling strategies

• Identify opportunities to increase group and event sales revenue

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Understand client requirements and tailor event solutions accordingly

• Arrange and conduct hotel show rounds for prospective clients

• Provide prompt and professional responses to client enquiries

Event Coordination and Administration

• Ensure complete administration and execution of all planned events

• Coordinate with internal departments for seamless event delivery

• Participate in hotel promotional and marketing activities

• Maintain accurate records and reporting related to group and event bookings

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

• Good organizational and administrative skills

• Positive attitude and strong communication skills

• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service

• Confident and professional telephone manner

• High level of IT proficiency

• Excellent grooming and presentation standards

• Previous experience working in a Sales environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of hotel property management systems

• Previous experience in Conference and Events operations

• Relevant qualification degree or certification in hospitality business or related field
