Position Overview

• Supervise the Accounts function within the Finance department

• Oversee accurate financial reporting and account management processes

• Ensure timely payments and effective resolution of account queries

• Support financial integrity and operational efficiency of the hotel

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations and Reporting

• Ensure accuracy of all departmental financial processes across various accounts

• Supervise payment processes to meet all deadlines

• Manage account queries and resolve disputes efficiently

• Balance accounts on a daily weekly and monthly basis

• Prepare accurate financial reports and clearly identify discrepancies

• Execute tasks and financial requests as directed by the Finance Manager or General Manager

Team Development and Compliance

• Support development of the Finance Team and other roles interacting with financial processes

• Promote a multi skilled and knowledgeable team environment

• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Comply with fire health and safety regulations and follow correct procedures

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a high volume Accounts function

• Strong computer literacy with advanced MS Excel skills

• Good time management and organizational skills

• High level of attention to detail and financial accuracy

• Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Accounts experience within a hotel environment

• Relevant degree in Accounting or related business discipline
