Job Purpose

• Perform routine and emergency inspection and maintenance at Service Stations Depots and other company facilities

• Execute civil carpentry plumbing painting and signage works

• Monitor and coordinate with maintenance contractors for corrective and preventive maintenance

• Support Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance

Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance Execution

• Carry out routine and emergency repair works at Service Stations Depots and Plants

• Attend to end user complaints assess site issues and perform minor repairs

• Coordinate with maintenance contractors for major defects and specialized work

• Inspect and monitor contractor performance ensuring work meets contract standards and timelines

• Provide technical supervision for minor development and modification projects

• Ensure proper handover documentation including Provisional Acceptance Certificates

• Revisit sites to verify completion quality and submit written reports to Maintenance Supervisor

• Conduct daily rotational inspections of signage and civil works

• Rectify urgent minor issues and escalate major problems to Supervisor

Contractor Coordination and Compliance

• Review contractor generated daily weekly monthly and annual maintenance checklists

• Guide contractors in accessing utilities as per as built drawings

• Verify Bills of Quantities submitted by contractors on site

• Inspect ongoing major projects and report progress

• Ensure quality of materials used in maintenance and project execution

Maintenance Operations and Safety

• Provide support for civil maintenance including carpentry painting air conditioning and plumbing

• Respond promptly to breakdowns ensuring minimal downtime

• Adhere strictly to safety procedures especially in hazardous areas

• Maintain updated preventive maintenance records and documentation

• Cover duties of other Maintenance Technicians during absence

• Address end user queries in the Supervisor’s absence

Qualifications and Experience

Education

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with vocational trade certificate in relevant field

• Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred

Experience

• Minimum four years experience in General Maintenance within Oil and Gas industry

Skills and Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge in civil and facility maintenance

• Ability to supervise and coordinate contractors effectively

• Knowledge of safety regulations in hazardous environments

• Good reporting and documentation skills

• Ability to handle multiple maintenance tasks efficiently
