Position Overview

  • Provide professional reception services from check in through check out

  • Deliver exceptional first impressions and outstanding guest experiences

  • Complete required audits and ensure smooth Front Office operations

  • Support revenue generation through up selling and occupancy maximization

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service and Reception Operations

  • Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner

  • Ensure efficient check in and check out procedures and complete audit tasks as required

  • Maintain clear communication with Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors regarding guest feedback

  • Demonstrate high levels of customer service at all times

  • Assist other departments as necessary to support overall hotel operations

Sales and Product Knowledge

  • Maintain strong knowledge of room categories rates packages and promotions

  • Maximize room occupancy using up selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities

  • Follow correct procedures for handling foreign currency credit cards and cash in line with hotel credit policy

Compliance and Standards

  • Comply with hotel security fire regulations and health and safety legislation

  • Operate front of house equipment and property management systems according to policies

  • Follow company brand standards consistently

  • Attend required training programs and assist with Night Team development when needed

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer focused industry

  • High school certificate or equivalent qualification

  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills

  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service

  • Excellent grooming and professional presentation standards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Competent level of IT proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cash handling
