Position Overview

• Supervise Kitchen Stewards to deliver excellent Guest and Member experiences

• Support overall Back of House operations

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness hygiene and safety

• Coordinate kitchen stewarding activities and equipment management

Key Responsibilities

Stewarding Supervision and Operations

• Supervise Kitchen Stewards ensuring high performance standards

• Coordinate daily pot wash and dish wash responsibilities

• Maintain Back of House areas to the highest cleanliness standards

• Ensure cleaning schedules are properly followed and completed

• Assist in the movement storage and organization of operational equipment

• Support stock take of equipment and other operational items

Health Safety and Compliance

• Observe COSHH guidelines when handling hazardous substances

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations

• Ensure correct PPE is available and properly used

• Confirm machinery is operated safely efficiently and according to company guidelines

• Report faults damaged or misused equipment to the Back of House Manager Head Chef or Maintenance Manager

• Ensure team adherence to hygiene and safety regulations

Team Support and Development

• Support Back of House team training and development initiatives

• Perform additional reasonable tasks assigned by Hotel Management

• Work collaboratively with kitchen and operational teams

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to adapt to various work situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar stewarding role

• Previous supervisory experience
